Connor Wilhelm’s abstract was recently selected for a highlighted podium presentation at the 2026 Center for Immunology Retreat at the University of Iowa. Connor’s research in the Boyden Lab focuses on leveraging single cell RNA sequencing to identify pathogenic B cell genes of interest for targeting in vivo and validating pre-clinical therapy potential. Connor’s podium presentation explaining these efforts was recognized by an independent panel of senior faculty and research staff as being among the top two oral presentations at the retreat. The Center will be providing Connor with a significant travel award because of this, to be used for presenting his research at an upcoming national meeting.
